Job Summary
Amberwell Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist PRN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders
Collect and analyze sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases
Measure lung capacity to determine impaired function
Perform respiratory therapy procedures and cardiac diagnostic procedures throughout the hospital

Requirements
2-year degree in respiratory therapy or related field
Licensed by the State of Kansas as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Working Conditions
Exposure to potential electrical shock
Exposure to x-ray/electromagnetic energy
Exposure to communicable disease
Exposure to blood and/or body fluids
CRT monitor
Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds constantly
Stand for 1 hour per day and walk for 1-2 hours per day
Have good manual dexterity and eye/hand/foot coordination
Have clarity of vision: mid-range (20=)
