Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our client's dynamic and global organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to contribute to the company's financial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of federal, state, and local income tax returns preparation and filing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact, and implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
  • Collaboration with finance and accounting teams for accurate and timely tax provision calculations.
  • Preparation and analysis of tax-related financial statements, ensuring transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conducting in-depth research on complex tax issues, staying abreast of legislative changes and industry trends.
  • Providing recommendations based on research findings to optimize the company's tax position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of progressive experience in tax accounting, with a focus on corporate taxation.
  • Recent public accounting experience.

Location and Salary

Tampa, FL - $110,000 per year.
