Job Summary

The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and perform triage and direct care to assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the RN/Nurse Manager.
  • Assist clinicians with exams, update medical records, and perform routine administrative and clinical tasks.
  • Ensure a smooth flow of patients through the office by providing efficient basic care.
  • Perform secretarial support for the office, assist with front desk operations, and complete general clerical tasks.

Requirements

  • Current Medical Assistant Certification awarded through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the American Medical Technologists (AMT), the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or the National Healthcare Association (NHA).
  • Registered Medical Assistant (Per department needs).
