Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide business advising on topics such as business formation, business plan development, financial management, marketing, human resource management, and more.
  • Keep all scheduled client appointments and adhere to the Oregon SBDC Network Code of Ethics.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities as requested.
  • Refer clients to appropriate small business resources and training as needed.
  • Deliver business training as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Business or equivalent combination of business ownership and education.
  • Three years of business ownership experience or subject matter expertise.
  • Strong understanding of business and training terminology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Small business management, strategic planning, business recordkeeping, marketing techniques, human resource management, sales, and business problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with Center Dynamics Center IC or other database software.
