We offer a competitive salary that reflects the value of your skills and experience. Based on industry standards and cost of living considerations, we estimate the annual salary for this position to be between $70,197 and $105,295.

Job Description

We are seeking an early-career mechanical engineer with a strong foundation in design principles and a passion for delivering innovative solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing conceptual and detailed designs of mechanical parts and assemblies based on project requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide supporting safety and engineering analyses as needed, prepare materials for design reviews, and create technical drawings in compliance with industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a BSME degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in CAD software and intermediate knowledge of FEA software are essential. Strong communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, are also required.

Location and Schedule

This full-time position is located in our state-of-the-art Laser Lab & COI facilities. The schedule is standard Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility to accommodate team meetings and projects.
