Surgical Technologist

Job Summary:
Geisinger Health System is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will assist surgeons with procedures related to the care of patients of all ages during surgical intervention.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination of treatments with other disciplines.
Provide basic patient assistance.
Connect patients to clinical equipment as needed.
Practice aseptic techniques while preparing for surgery including scrubbing, applying surgical gown, gloving, draping and setting up instrument table.

Requirements:
Graduate from Specialty Training Program.
Minimum of 1 year-Related work experience.
Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
