About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Lead to join our team at Steampunk. As a Salesforce Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions, working closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in Salesforce applications.
  • Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions.
  • Perform Salesforce administration and development tasks.
  • Support data migration related analysis, manipulation, and load activities for system cutover and Salesforce go-live.
  • Handle numerous projects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
  • Monitor usage for compliance.
  • Maintain security for data.
  • Interface with business analysts and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work products.
  • Implement App Exchange solutions.
  • Research integration issues and work closely with team members on operations and development staff.
  • Research and development of new prototypes and applications.
  • Research and keep current on technologies and communicate trends and future needs to leadership.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications.
  • Build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with clients.
  • Participate and engage in all team meetings.
  • Document best practices and operational procedures.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce development.
  • 8+ years total experience.
  • Functional knowledge of data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements.
  • Must have proven knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, APIs, and Web Service.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain government Public Trust security clearance.
  • Salesforce development and implementation experience.
  • At minimum hold current Min Platform Dev II & App Arch cert.
  • Experience with Java-based applications.
  • Experience with VSCode with Salesforce DX and Git version control.
  • Experience delivering Salesforce projects using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce Development and Deployment Tools.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and overseeing the work of junior developers.
  • Experience with Communities and Flows.
  • Experience declarative configuration, Apex development, and Lightening development.
  • Able to translate user stories into working software with minimal oversight.

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines.
  • Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and analysis.
  • Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly.
  • Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certifications.
