Salesforce Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Lead to join our team at Steampunk. As a Salesforce Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions, working closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in Salesforce applications.
- Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues.
- Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions.
- Perform Salesforce administration and development tasks.
- Support data migration related analysis, manipulation, and load activities for system cutover and Salesforce go-live.
- Handle numerous projects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
- Monitor usage for compliance.
- Maintain security for data.
- Interface with business analysts and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work products.
- Implement App Exchange solutions.
- Research integration issues and work closely with team members on operations and development staff.
- Research and development of new prototypes and applications.
- Research and keep current on technologies and communicate trends and future needs to leadership.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications.
- Build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with clients.
- Participate and engage in all team meetings.
- Document best practices and operational procedures.
- Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience with Salesforce development.
- 8+ years total experience.
- Functional knowledge of data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements.
- Must have proven knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, APIs, and Web Service.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain government Public Trust security clearance.
- Salesforce development and implementation experience.
- At minimum hold current Min Platform Dev II & App Arch cert.
- Experience with Java-based applications.
- Experience with VSCode with Salesforce DX and Git version control.
- Experience delivering Salesforce projects using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Experience with Salesforce Development and Deployment Tools.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and overseeing the work of junior developers.
- Experience with Communities and Flows.
- Experience declarative configuration, Apex development, and Lightening development.
- Able to translate user stories into working software with minimal oversight.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment.
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and analysis.
- Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly.
- Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certifications.
