We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center in Norfolk, VA. This is a full-time weekend position with a generous sign-on bonus of up to $30K and relocation/moving allowance for qualified candidates.

About the Role

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients under the direction of a qualified physician. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Positioning patients for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology
  • Operating radiation-producing equipment and electronic Radiology systems
  • Preparing patient rooms/equipment/medications

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and ensure accurate diagnoses.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a registry-eligible graduate degree or higher and obtain ARRT registration within 180 days of hire. Experience in phlebotomy may be required for certain sites that perform both radiology and lab services.

Shift and Benefits

This is a full-time weekend position, working from Friday to Sunday, 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM. You will enjoy a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, sick leave, parental and caregiver leave, educational assistance, emergency backup care, and more.
