Our clients are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join their winning team. As a Physician Assistant for Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' strengths and weaknesses, creating effective treatment plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Physical Therapist who excels at assessing patients' needs and devising creative and effective treatment plans. You will work closely with our team to provide personalized care, focusing on improving patients' functional independence, reducing pain levels, and maximizing overall well-being.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and recording patient care data, including initial evaluations, daily notes, reassessments/progress reports, discharge plans, and communication with team members.
- Preparing for evaluations, obtaining patient history, researching unfamiliar diagnoses, selecting and administering tests, and synthesizing evaluation results to formulate diagnoses, goals, and plans of care.
- Establishing treatment plans based on evaluation results, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and identifying the need for consultations or referrals.
- Providing education and training to patients and their support systems, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and can effectively manage their conditions.

About Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate degree preferred.
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where you will be practicing.
- Completed CEU requirements in the relevant state (NY, NJ).
- A valid CPR license.
- Experience/knowledge with EMR software, with a strong clinical decision-making skillset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A positive, professional demeanor, with a commitment to teamwork and minimal supervision.
