Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team at North Central Utility. As a Trailer Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our trailers by performing routine inspections, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to identify and diagnose mechanical issues
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on trailers to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to resolve issues efficiently
  • Collaborate with our team of experienced technicians to ensure all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Document all repairs and maintenance work for record-keeping purposes
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide exceptional customer service
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and latest technologies in trailer repair
Requirements
  • Prior experience in trailer repair and maintenance is required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical systems
  • Proficient in welding, fabrication, and cutting techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Own basic tools is preferred
