Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU nurse to join our team at United Surgical Partners. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery process for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement physician orders and provide continuity of care for patients in the PACU
  • Assess and evaluate patient condition, providing safety, comfort, and privacy at all times
  • Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile technique
  • Provide comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient and family preparation for discharge
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Currently licensed in the state of AZ
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in PACU
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Critical care or PACU experience
Work Environment:
  • Outpatient surgery
  • Physical demands include working on a computer, using a telephone, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
