About the Job

As a Diesel Technician/Mechanic II at Penske, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles. You will work independently, using your expertise to diagnose and resolve complex issues. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure that our customers' vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Use advanced technology and tools to optimize vehicle performance
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Specialized training in diesel engine repair and diagnostics
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
