Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Arizona Superior Court in Pima County. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will provide administrative support to the Director, Assistant Director, and programs of the Court, Children, and Family Services Division.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of specialized paraprofessional tasks, including preparing, drafting, finalizing, and processing legal documents, correspondence, reports, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and memoranda related to division operations. They will also be required to gather information, prepare documents, organize meetings, record and transcribe minutes of meetings, perform data entry, and type correspondence to meet time constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to senior staff members, including preparing documents, making travel arrangements, and coordinating meetings.
  • Process and maintain confidential and sensitive information, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Assist with the coordination of events, site visits, and trainings, as well as providing customer service to the public.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and databases, adhering to court policies and procedures.
  • Perform data entry, typing, and other administrative duties as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D certificate and four years of progressively responsible administrative/clerical work experience. A paralegal certificate, legal document preparer certification, or work experience in a court, legal, or professional office environment is highly desirable.
