The anticipated annual salary for this role is $149,247 - $277,173 USD, with additional benefits including elective health and dental plans, retirement savings, paid holidays, vacation days, and paid sick leave.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in San Jose, California. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure Key Management Platform & SaaS Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Follow the software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality code and efficient delivery.
  2. Design scalable microservices and orchestration to meet the needs of multi-tenancy, high availability, scalability, manageability, and extensibility.
  3. Evaluate new technologies, develop prototypes, and integrate them into our products as needed.
  4. Use test-driven methodologies and automation to ensure quality before handing off to Quality Assurance teams.
  5. Debug complex problems in multi-threaded applications and communicate task and project status to the team and engineering management.
  6. Accomplish engineering and organizational mission by completing related results as needed.
  7. Estimate and schedule software tasks accurately and develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with product owners, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  8. Document and demonstrate solutions through clear documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clean code.
  9. Maintain technical expertise in server development and security and collaborate closely with customer support to understand issues and represent solutions to users and products.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience as a software engineer in a related field.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or another related technical discipline.
  3. 3+ years of experience using AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker/Container, and Kubernetes, launching products in production using these technologies.
  4. 3+ years of prior experience programming in Go, C/C++ languages.
  5. 3+ years of experience with RESTful API using tools such as Swagger.
  6. 3+ years of experience in developing high availability and database-centric enterprise-class software on Postgres.
  7. Experience using SaaS applications in the cloud and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  8. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues, blocking, and deadlocking issues.
  9. Experience with Linux software development, packaging, testing, and release, along with scripting language knowledge.
  10. Experience with Messaging technologies (Kafka, Any MQ) and messaging patterns.
  11. Prior experience in knowledge of PKI, PKCS, KMIP standards.
  12. Excellent problem-solving, written, verbal, and communication skills.

Favorable Skills and Experience:

  1. Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or another related discipline.
  2. Knowledge in management applications especially in Key Management domain.
  3. Knowledge in secure coding, security principles.
  4. Knowledge in SDK usage in AWS/Azure/GCP.
  5. SAFe agile software development experience.
