Job Summary

As a Mental Health Technician with Temple University Health System, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and assessing units for safety. Under the direction of Registered Nurses, you will complete portions of patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation. Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you lead and co-lead therapeutic activities.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in human services, such as psychology, sociology, or counseling, is required. Alternatively, a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience

At least one year of experience in direct patient care with a Bachelor's degree or two years of experience in a human services field with an Associate's degree is required. Five years of experience in direct patient care with a High School Diploma may also be considered.

Licenses and Certifications

A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required for this role.
