We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at St. Vincent's in Bismarck, ND.

Job Summary

The LPN provides high-quality nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care settings, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.

Demonstrating knowledge of nursing principles, you will provide care that is tailored to the unique needs of each resident. Your ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions will be essential in ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of our residents.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to assess residents, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.

Your excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality will be crucial in counseling residents, family members, and advocates on prevention and treatment plans.

To qualify for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. If the position requires IV therapy/management skills, you must have completed an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

A currently held unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges is required. Additionally, you must obtain and subsequently maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Requirements
  • Graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
  • IV therapy/management skills: completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
  • Unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
  • Department-specific competencies and certifications
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $30-$42 per hour, based on location and experience.
