About the Role

CarMax is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product organization, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop cutting-edge software products
* Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions
* Work closely with product management and systems architecture to develop experimental solutions and bring great ideas to life
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our products and services

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
* 8+ years of application development experience
* Strong teamwork skills, ability to learn quickly, excellent written and spoken communication
* Experience with .NET Core/C#/Microsoft Azure offerings, SQL Server, NoSQL database technologies, and Agile/DevOps methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with front-end architecture, working within a product organization, and collaborating with multiple teams
