Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Term Care Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care, support daily living activities, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, ambulating, and skin care
  • Take initial vital signs and provide weights to nursing staff in a timely manner
  • Monitor and record patient intake and output according to unit standards or physician orders
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient-related issues and support patient rights
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide prompt and accurate patient care
  • Provide additional care as directed by the RN/LPN
  • Assist with orientation of patients/families to unit, facility, and services

Requirements

  • Active Maine C.N.A License
  • Ability to empathize with patients and families
  • Demonstrated flexibility when needed
  • Passion for working with long-term care residents and skilled rehabilitation patients
