Gastroenterologist Position in Wisconsin

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team in a growing community near Abbotsford, WI.
About the Role- This temporary opportunity offers a flexible start date as soon as possible (ASAP) and extends until the permanent position is filled.
- The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastrointestinal care to a diverse patient population.
- The role involves conducting thorough patient histories and physical examinations, diagnosing digestive diseases, and developing effective treatment plans.
- The Gastroenterologist will also order and interpret diagnostic tests such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and other GI procedures, prescribe medications, and provide ongoing medical management for patients with chronic digestive conditions.
- An active and unrestricted Wisconsin (WI) medical license or eligibility for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) privileges.
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine with a fellowship in Gastroenterology is mandatory.
- Experience in a hospital setting managing adult patients with gastrointestinal disorders is preferred.
- A competitive salary of $400,000 per year, negotiable for the right candidate.
