Job Description

The Center Store Associate - Grocery Department Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness and providing fast, friendly, and accurate customer service
  • Courteously assisting other associates and customers
  • Ensuring shelves are clean and stocked with products, maintaining shelf allocations by stocking from tag to tag
  • Placing only saleable merchandise on the shelves
  • Adhering to company policies and guidelines for ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning, and displaying merchandise
  • Using company tools such as ACIS and CAO
  • Maintaining a complete understanding of and adherence to company guidelines, policies, and standard practice
  • Understanding and following Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • An ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
  • An ability to use technical information to solve problems
  • The ability to meet minimum age requirements and perform specific job functions
  • The ability to meet physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodations
Salary

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $12.50 per hour, based on location and experience.
