Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at United One Communications LLC in Hill, AFB.
Job Responsibilities- Provide overall network engineering support for customer programs, including planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the DISA Enterprise Network.
- Solve routine technical problems following established procedures and policies.
- Work directly with the engineering team to provide specifications for network architecture, evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance current capabilities, and perform needs assessments.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related issues through monitoring, testing, and servicing network equipment.
- Junior Level: 1-2 years of experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN maintenance, and performance management.
- Mid-Level: 3-5 years of experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN maintenance, and performance management.
- Senior Level: 5+ years of experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN maintenance, and performance management.
- Expertise in routers, switches, crypto devices, routing, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, and Optical Switching.
- General understanding of network topologies, both transport and IP.
- Ability to work in a shift work environment as this is a 24/7 operation.
- U.S. Citizenship.
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on level of experience and qualifications.
