Clinical Nurse Specialist

This role provides direct clinical patient care and assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. This position will support all facilities in the market as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
Supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated
Ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care
Support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management
Support all facilities in the market as needed
