Join Our Team as a Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Brighton Eggert Animal Clinic and Pet Resort in Western New York. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role:

  • Job Summary: Provide high-quality veterinary care to patients, work collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow, and contribute to the overall well-being of our hospital.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Administer medication, vaccinations, and other medical treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
    • Perform routine laboratory tests, such as blood counts and urinalyses
    • Assist with surgeries, including preparing animals for procedures and monitoring their recovery
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes
    • Communicate effectively with clients, answering questions and addressing concerns about their pets' health and treatment plans

Brighton Eggert Animal Clinic and Pet Resort is a state-of-the-art, 13-doctor practice located in a suburb of Buffalo, New York. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including internal medicine, orthopedics, dentistry, emergency care, wellness, surgery, and more. Our hospital features advanced equipment, including ultrasounds, digital x-rays, and a dental suite, as well as a fully equipped treatment area and separate dog and cat areas.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an AVMA-accredited college or equivalent, be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in New York State, and have relevant experience in veterinary care.
