About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Consultant to join our team at ProPharma Group. As a Health and Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for handling health and safety calls, providing product safety information to consumers, end users, and healthcare professionals, and escalating calls to other staff or on-duty toxicologists as outlined in notification guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medical services, such as EMT or Paramedic certification, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to translate complex medical information into clear and concise language for consumers and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle health and safety calls and provide product safety information
  • Educate callers on first aid procedures
  • Determine if a call requires escalation and notify lead toxicologist accordingly
  • Document adverse event and information calls in a safety database
  • Follow up with callers to ensure their health concerns are addressed

Requirements:

  • EMT, Paramedic, Veterinary Technician, or equivalent certification required
  • Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment
