About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Two95 International Inc. as a key member of our technology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing systems using object-oriented or functional programming languages.
  • Develop and implement data pipelines using Apache Nifi, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Hadoop/HDFS, Hive, Drill, Pig, and other Big Data technology stacks.
  • Work with document databases such as MongoDB and Accumulo to design and implement scalable data storage solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Agile development processes, including sprint planning, user story development, and retrospectives.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using cloud-based development and delivery platforms.
  • Design and implement distributed computing patterns, techniques, and technologies, including ESB.
  • Develop and implement continuous delivery technologies, including Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Docker, Vagrant, and other tools.
  • Develop and implement build automation and continuous integration tools, including Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo, and other tools.
  • Develop and implement test automation using Selenium, SoapUI, and other tools.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in developing software using object-oriented or functional programming languages.
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Big Data technology stacks.
  • 3+ years of experience working with document databases.
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile development processes.
  • 2+ years of experience in distributed version control systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud-based development and delivery.
  • Familiarity with distributed computing patterns, techniques, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous delivery technologies.
  • Familiarity with build automation and continuous integration tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile process management tools.
  • Familiarity with test automation.
  • Good software development and Object Oriented programming skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with end users to transform requests into robust solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Initiative and self-motivation to work independently on projects.
