About the Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Academic Clinician to join our team at the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Radiology. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to contribute to our academic clinician track.

Job Summary:

This position involves interpreting cardiovascular radiology images, including cardiac CT, MRI, CTA, and MRA. You will work closely with residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments, providing daily clinical supervision and lecturing on various topics.

The successful candidate will participate in shared after-hours and weekend coverage, ensuring seamless patient care. Our team handles a high volume and variety of cases, including coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA), CT scans for structural heart disease, TAVR, TMVR, and TTVR.

Responsibilities

  • Interpreting cardiovascular radiology images, including cardiac CT, MRI, CTA, and MRA
  • Daily clinical supervision of residents and fellows
  • Lecturing on various topics to medical students, radiology residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments
  • Shared after-hours and weekend coverage

Requirements

  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
  • American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility with appropriate sub-specialty training

What We Offer

This role comes with an estimated salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
