Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management Executive Vice President to spearhead our safety initiatives. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard our organization's assets, reputation, and financial stability.

About the Role:
  • You will provide mentorship and leadership to our Safety staff, setting the tone and pace for the department's performance.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Investigate accidents or near-misses and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  • Champion activities designed to empower associates to take ownership of and lead safety efforts in the field.
Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Management Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to our organization.
  2. Safety Policy and Procedure Implementation: Design and implement safety policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  3. Accident Investigation and Corrective Action: Investigate accidents or near-misses and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  4. Leadership and Mentorship: Provide mentorship and leadership to our Safety staff, fostering a culture of safety excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Safety Manager or in a similar senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
  • Ability to travel 65% of the time.
