Job Summary

NVI, LLC is seeking a motivated Assistant Radiographer to join our Carlsbad, NM Division. As a key member of our team, you will assist in radiography and nondestructive testing operations to ensure a quality and safe work product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting up and operating equipment for NDT inspections.
  • Assist in the interpretation of radiographic images under the supervision of a qualified radiographer.
  • Prepare inspection records and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and operations management.
  • Follow and adhere to industrial radiation procedures set forth by the company, state, and federal governing bodies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid State Driver's License and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle History Evaluation.
  • Able to pass FBI background verification in accordance with Company's Increased Controls program.
  • Able to pass the Company's Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • State Radiographer's Card and/or IRRSP Card.
  • ASNT/ACCP Level II Radiography certification, or Documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for methods MT, PT, and UT Certifications.
  • Proficient in problem solving and basic math formulas.
