Business Development Manager Opportunity

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for one of our manufacturing clients. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of background in sales, specifically within the plastics or welding manufacturing industry, and a proven ability to cultivate new business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify and secure new business opportunities in contract manufacturing.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their manufacturing needs.

Drive revenue growth through direct sales efforts, leveraging a strong understanding of plastic, vinyl, and welding product manufacturing.

Work closely with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure successful delivery of client projects.

Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.

Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to contract close.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote products and services.

Qualifications:

8+ years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience in contract manufacturing, ideally within plastics, vinyl, or similar materials.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes involving plastics, vinyl, welding, or other flexible engineered products.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams to meet business goals.

Comfortable with hybrid work, but willing to travel to the Indianapolis office as needed for customer and internal meetings.
