Lead Dentist Specialist

Capital Area Health Network is seeking an experienced and skilled Dentist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality dental care and services to patients of all ages.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that requires a DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution. The successful candidate will have current, valid licensure to practice dentistry in their state (license must be in good standing) and relevant certifications such as DEA and CPR. They should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities- Provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis and treatment plans, general restorative procedures, crown and bridge construction, removable prosthetics, uncomplicated endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Prescribe and interpret radiographs with documentation.
- Safely administer appropriate types and doses of anesthetics and prescribe medications.
- Refer patients for specialty care to other clinic programs or outside agencies as needed, following up on referrals for continuity of care.
- Supervise dental hygienists and support staff.
- Conduct follow-up patient care.
- Provide dental and oral health education to patients and families.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, valid licensure to practice dentistry in your state (license must be in good standing).
- Relevant certifications such as DEA and CPR.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
