We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Pharmacy Operations Advisor to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our internal and external clients, ensuring seamless pharmacy operations, and driving efficiency and quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and hubs to provide pharmacy operations support
- Direct daily communication with the hub to receive and respond to pharmacy operations-related inquiries and issues
- Provide same-day assistance with patient and/or prescriber outreach to the hub for select hub-identified cases
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure efficient and proper handling of patients and clients
- Assist with coordinating status updates and pull-through with CarePlus on referrals sent to specialty for fulfillment
- Develop concierge relationships with prescriber offices, serving as a single point of contact with a direct line to the prescriber office
- Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders and improve relations between prescribers and pharmaceutical companies
- Occasional travel may be required to meet with the hub and manufacturer on a quarterly basis to conduct business reviews
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in specialty pharmacy operations, including experience with specialty therapies and health products, independent decision-making, overseeing workflow, and project management
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization
- Strong presentation skills and ability to leverage MS PowerPoint
- Strong ability to communicate systems and procedural changes to end-users through excellent written and oral communication
- Comprehensive knowledge of therapy-specific information, drug classification background, and general drug knowledge
- Knowledge of plan attributes relating to conflicts on member plans
Preferred Qualifications:
- Benefit verification experience, BV experience, and supervisory experience
- Supervisory experience
- Demonstrated success using interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to provide customer service and influence business partners
- Comprehensive knowledge of therapy-specific information, drug classification background, and general drug knowledge
