Laundry Attendant

As a Laundry Attendant at StepStone Hospitality Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our laundry facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load articles into washer and ensure correct code is entered into machines.
- Wash clothes according to StepStone and hotel standards.
- Sort dried articles based on item type and check for stains and damage.
- Fold and place items in appropriate storage racks.
- Soak contaminated articles in neutralizer solution in vat to precondition for washing.
- Use bio-red bags for contaminated articles when found.
- Soak articles according to procedure in bleach.
- Pretreat stains with special solutions using safety precautions and proper procedures.
- Check and clean all filters on washers and driers every two hours.
- Deliver linen to closets as needed.
- Make rounds to pull dirty linen from housekeeping carts as needed.
- Assist with monthly linen inventory.
Requirements:
- Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
- Minimum pulling of 20 pounds.
