Established and well-known law firm Avata Partners seeks a highly skilled Paralegal Specialist to join their San Jose office.

The salary for this role is estimated at $90-108K per annum, plus benefits.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a legal assistant or secretary role, preferably within a law firm setting in civil litigation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and revising client pre-bills and assisting with attorney billable time entries and submissions
  • Managing cases and files efficiently
  • Assisting with e-filings, formatting legal documents, and tracking deadlines
  • Opening new client matters and providing administrative support
  • Transcription and document preparation

The successful candidate will possess excellent time management and prioritization skills, as well as experience supporting multiple attorneys.

About the Role

This is a full-time position offering a hybrid schedule, with opportunities to work remotely 2 days a week and in-office 3 days a week.
