Job Summary

As a Paramedic with Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. This role requires a strong foundation in emergency medicine, critical thinking, and effective communication.

Responsibilities
  • Provide initial emergency measures and continuum of care for patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric.
  • Perform in the pre-hospital environment to the Paramedic level of training established by state guidelines.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician in the hospital setting.
  • Maintain ambulances and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Participate in the EMS Performance Improvement Process to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Complete forms and documents accurately and efficiently, in accordance with EMS and hospital policies.
Requirements
  • BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Paramedic licensure.
  • A current driver's license with an acceptable driving record, as per Ambulance Service Fleet Safety Policies.
