About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Night Shift Supervisor at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff during the night shift
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Monitor and evaluate the flow of activity and delivery of patient care provided
  • Prepare resident assignments and monitor the competency of personnel
  • Identify and respond to patient concerns and needs in a timely and effective manner
  • Communicate and direct services or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, physicians, and other vendors/services
Requirements:
  • Current and good standing RN License in State of New York
  • Experience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimer's patients is desirable
  • Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident
  • Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, and elderly
  • Have patience and willingness to assist any residents and co-workers
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills
  • Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff
