Staff - Level I Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology Specialist

University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Radiology team as a Staff - Level I Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our Radiology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing principles, practices, and techniques, as well as experience in radiology procedures and safety practices.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including pre-procedure and post-procedure assessments, medication administration, and patient education.
- Collaborate with medical, technical, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including assessment, diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, following organizational policies and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in radiology nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current/valid FL RN license.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. PALS preferred but must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a PACU, ICU, or Emergency Department.
