Lifepoint Health is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Los Alamitos, California.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional to assist with carrying out individual restorative programs designed by our Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist. The successful candidate will communicate effectively with our residents, promoting their comfort and well-being while ensuring continuity of care through accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out individualized restorative programs to help residents regain functional abilities
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Assist with ambulation, transfer, and other tasks as needed
  • Perform sanitization duties as required, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents
  • Demonstrate superior customer service skills and a commitment to resident care

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • 6-12 months relevant experience in a rehab setting is strongly recommended
  • CPR certification (when required) is essential
