We are seeking a skilled Case Worker Specialist to join our team at Daybreak. This role will play a vital part in providing essential services to homeless and vulnerable youth in the Miami Valley area.

About Us:

Established in 1975, Daybreak is a leading organization dedicated to supporting runaway, throwaway, and homeless youth. Our comprehensive services include emergency shelter, crisis hotline, outreach, prevention, transitional housing, life-skills education, and follow-up services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high levels of productivity by delivering individual and group services, adhering to agency standards.
  • Coordinate with the YHDP Clinical Case Manager to plan and implement activities and life skills training that aid clients in regaining daily functioning skills.
  • Collaborate with the YHDP Clinical Case Manager to provide rehabilitation and support aimed at restoring and enhancing social and interpersonal skills.
  • Engage with clients to identify potential risks or functional impairments, providing solution-focused interventions and emotional and behavioral management.
  • Assist clients with transitions between programs, including coordinating moves, overseeing inspections, and facilitating bedbug treatments.
  • Implement a strength-based model to encourage positive behaviors, utilizing natural and logical consequences when necessary.
  • Participate in Team meetings as requested.

Requirements:

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field is preferred. Experience working with the target population is also beneficial.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
