We are seeking a skilled Rapid Response Neuro Coordinator Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Hospital, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a key member of our neuro critical care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care.

About the Role

  • You will respond to all Stroke Alerts and neurological patient care emergencies, providing timely and effective support to patients and staff.
  • As a clinical expert, you will stay with patients until issues are resolved and they are safely transferred to the appropriate unit for ongoing management.
  • You will coach staff on development of assessment, communication, and clinical skills, promoting excellence in patient care.
  • Participate in sentinel event investigations and root cause analysis activities to reduce risk and increase patient safety.

What You'll Need

  • A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program, with a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in an ICU or ER.
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, along with ACLS, BLS, and NIH stroke scale certifications.
  • PREFERRED: Charge nurse experience and Neurology service line expertise.

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $105,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, you will enjoy:
