We are seeking a skilled Senior Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at the UAB Health System. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our medical facility.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages for similar positions in the United States.

Job Description

In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to obstetrical patients in the clinic setting. Your expertise will include antenatal and postpartum care for both high and low-risk patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans focused on surgical interventions.
  • Evaluate and manage patient assessments, prescriptions, lab and diagnostic testing, and therapies.
  • Ensure complete documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and provided care.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests for patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you must possess a Master's degree in Nursing with a Women's Health NP or Family NP certification. Prior OB experience is required for Family NPs. Additionally, you must be certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
