**Job Summary**

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the maintenance team at our client, a well-established manufacturing company.

Position Overview: This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing maintenance activities, coordinating repairs, and optimizing team productivity to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure continuous support for production operations.
  • Oversee and prioritize maintenance tasks, assigning work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct equipment repairs and preventative maintenance during non-production hours.
  • Monitor and maintain daily productivity, ensuring the team remains engaged and efficient.
  • Perform weekly reviews of completed work orders to track progress and address any issues.
  • Manage the maintenance labor budget, finding ways to optimize costs without sacrificing quality.
  • Approve time clock punches, vacation requests, and manage staff scheduling, including coverage for absences and vacation periods.

What We're Looking For: An experienced leader who can maintain a productive, motivated maintenance team while minimizing production downtime and ensuring cost-effective operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: An Associate's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, along with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a similar setting, managing multi-craft maintenance teams. Equivalent experience and knowledge may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge and practical experience in electrical, mechanical, and programming repairs is required.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic PC applications, particularly spreadsheet and word-processing software, is preferred.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to identify problems, analyze options, and implement effective solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels within the organization.
  • Organizational Ability: Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and ensuring timely completion.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
