Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a friendly, patient-focused and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. This full-time position is Monday – Friday 7:30am – 5 pm, with potential opportunities to float to local practices for coverage.
About the Role:- Schedule and triage appointment requests according to approved protocols.
- Use call processing functionality in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to take messages and communicate with clinicians.
- Greet patients and conduct check-in processes.
- Monitor daily reminder call logs to reschedule appointments as needed.
- Scan and index documents into the EHR, ensuring necessary documents are available before patient visits.
- Closed payment batches at the end of each shift, balancing batches according to ProHealth's cash control procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of current OSHA and ProHealth policies.
- Assist coworkers to ensure smooth office operations and delivery of excellent service through teamwork.
- High School Diploma/GED or higher.
- At least one year of receptionist experience in the healthcare field.
- Ability to travel up to 10% within 30 miles of assigned territory, with reliable transportation.
- Experience working with electronic health records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The hourly range for this role is approximately $16.00 to $28.27 per hour, depending on factors such as location, education, work experience, and certifications.
