Optical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optical Specialist to join our team at LensCrafters. As a key member of our optical team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of care and attention.

• Provide personalized service to customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing expert advice and guidance to customers and colleagues alike.
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure that finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
• Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions, providing solutions and support as needed.
• Utilize technology effectively, managing time pressure and customer volume while maintaining exceptional product knowledge and tool usage.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
• Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and competing priorities to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Identify and report safety opportunities, demonstrating safe work practices and a commitment to employee well-being.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.

• Previous customer service and retail experience.
