Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team at TARC.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist mechanics with vehicle repairs, maintenance, and adjustments. The position involves diagnosing issues, examining vehicles, and determining the best course of action for repair. Daily tasks may include lifting and maneuvering heavy parts, cleaning shop floors, and operating company vehicles.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $20.29-$28.98 per hour, depending on experience. As a valued member of our team, you will receive competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics with vehicle repairs, maintenance, and adjustments
  • Diagnose issues, examine vehicles, and determine the best course of action for repair
  • Lift and maneuver heavy parts, clean shop floors, and operate company vehicles
  • Perform minor body repair and disassemble simple components for reassembly
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and follow established safety procedures
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and CDL permit preferred
  • Ability to pass a physical examination and DOT physical
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a noisy environment with adequate light and temperature. There may be occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noise, fumes, odors, dust, mist, gases, and poor ventilation.
