We are currently seeking an Ambitious Academic Leader to join our team as the Dean of Academic Affairs. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned nursing educator with a passion for leadership to play a key role in shaping the future of nursing education at our Charlotte campus location.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the academic teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of our students and the healthcare community. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing curriculum strategies that align with the college's mission and objectives
- Fostering a culture of excellence in teaching, learning, and student success
- Collaborating with faculty and staff to enhance the student experience and promote academic achievement
- Maintaining accreditation standards and regulatory compliance
- Serving as a resource and mentor to faculty and staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development
What We Offer
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary package, including an estimated $123,000 - $165,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we offer a range of benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, and flexible time off policy.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to have a Master's degree in nursing, preferably with a doctorate degree. A minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in nursing education, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, is also required. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to lead, direct, and advise both faculty and students.
