Culinary Professional

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Ottumwa, IA. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our patients, residents, staff, and visitors.

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including baked goods, entrees, and desserts
• Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met at all times
• Operate kitchen equipment, including mixers, slicers, and ovens
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Work effectively with internal customers, including patients, residents, and staff

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of six months of applicable experience in food preparation and service
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
• Basic math skills and ability to measure ingredients accurately
