Efficient Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Operations Expert to join our team at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Key responsibilities include managing purchase requisitions, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, serving as SME for Ariba, and analyzing procurement processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. You will also conduct spend, supplier, and market analysis to inform procurement strategies and drive cost savings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supply chain, and/or purchasing, with 3-5 years of experience in general business. Pharmaceutical industry knowledge and experience working with laboratory operations and R&D-related goods and services are also desirable.
