Job Description:

The Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute seeks a skilled Dietary Aide to join our food service team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals and nutritional services to our patients, staff, and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve meals to all cafeteria customers in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Clean and maintain the work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Accept and reconcile deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Assist the cook and dietary supervisor in food preparation, adhering to established recipes and protocols.
  • Participate in activities that enhance professional growth and development, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Uphold the Institute's ethics and customer service standards, providing exceptional service to all patrons.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school degree or equivalent, preferably with a valid Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Two years of experience in a kitchen or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
