Armed Transportation Specialist

As an Armed Driver Guard with Loomis, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of cash, coins, and valuables. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Drive armored vehicles on designated routes, servicing customer locations and ensuring the secure transportation of cash and valuables.
- Service ATMs and Smart Safes, loading and unloading vehicle cargo, including multiple bags and boxes of coins.
- Count items, record, and sign for cargo items, maintaining accurate records and ensuring the integrity of the transportation process.
- Other duties as assigned by management, including working collaboratively with the team to achieve operational goals.
- At least 21 years of age and a valid driver's license.
- At least a 3-year driving record and the ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate via a US Department of Transportation approved medical examiner.
- A valid firearms permit or the ability to pass applicable firearms requirements may be required.
- Full-time schedule with an average of 50 hours/week, minimum of 5 days anytime during a 6-day period.
- Approximately 90-95 percent of work performed in a vehicle within individual compartments (front and rear).
