Reconstruction Estimator Specialist

We are seeking a Reconstruction Estimator to join our team at the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. As a Reconstruction Estimator, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate the claims process and ensuring that their properties are restored to their original condition.
Job Description:As a Reconstruction Estimator, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating daily property claims for clients pursuant to client and company direction. Your primary objective will be to provide timely, accurate, fair, and professional service to all clients and insured parties while maintaining a high level of production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handles all assigned claims promptly and effectively, with minimal need for direction and oversight.
- Inspect damaged property and determine claim-related damage.
- Makes decisions within delegated authority as outlined in company policies and procedures.
- Understands insurance coverage and applies appropriate claims practices to resolve claims in alignment with company guidelines.
- Sets and relays adequate reserves according to carrier guidelines.
- Maintains current knowledge of insurance policies and carrier guidelines.
- Maintains current knowledge of local industry repair procedures and local market pricing.
- Submits other information to claims management as needed.
- Delivers outstanding customer service experience to all internal, external, current, and prospective customers nationwide.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; High School diploma required.
- A valid adjuster license for the state residing/covering.
- A valid driver's license to travel to insured locations.
- 2-3 years of experience with property claims required.
- Experience preparing estimates with Xactimate and Symbility required.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, theories, and practices.
- General understanding of construction concepts and principles strongly preferred.
- The ability to climb ladders, get in attics/crawlspaces, get on roofs, kneel, bend, etc.
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
